The Stockyards

This is a video of one of the cowboys teaching how they used to use whips to steer or direct the cows where they wanted them to go while they were making their treks across the country.

The Stockyards

The Stockyards is a fun place to go to and check out some old time Fort Worth. They walk the bulls down the main street twice a day and do other fun old time western things. This is where the first indoor rodeo arena was built and they still have rodeos in it every Friday and Saturday night.

Baby Poll

We thought it would be fun to create a poll for our baby's name. Scroll down to the bottom to vote.

It may look like Liz is praying but she's not. This is how Liz holds the baby sometimes until he comes. It can never be to early to let your baby know how much you love him, don't you think.
Got to love law school! Joe spent Friday afternoon and evening and than all day Saturday on the couch typing a big paper for school. Joe is still in the white shirt that we wore to the temple that morning. We took a recent convert to the temple for her first time. It was such a neat experience to be able to go with her. She cried several times because of the spirit that she felt while we were there. She is excited to be able to do her parents work for them in 8 months.
We transplanted some of the bean and tomato plants. As you see in the next picture there are still a lot more plants that we need to transplant. We are excited to get some fresh vegetables in a few months.

This is an update on our garden. We need to transplant our vegetables soon. It is growing really well though.
