Remember the Alamo?

This is us in front of the Alamo. Liz thinks it was neat to see where Davy Crockett was killed. There really isn't much there to see but I think it's one of those things you at least need to see once.

The other pictures are of the river walk in San Antonio. There is a big outdoor play house with stadium seating that they have bands play and other entertainment. Parts of Miss Congeniality was filmed here for any of you who were wondering

Red Sox vs. Rangers

So we went to the Rangers/Red Sox game last night. I needed to make sure that Brigham got to a game this year and with my school schedule we almost missed it but luckily we made it. Brigham did very well at his first game. We, of course, had to try to entertain him for a few innings and that's why he has my hat on which he didn't think that was the greatest.

The Rangers won and we had a good time.

Family trip to Nauvoo

We were able to go to Nauvoo and Adam-ondi-Ahman this summer with Liz's family. It was great to be able to see Joe's parents in Nauvoo and to spend time with them. Joe's parents were in Nauvoo for 6 weeks helping out with the pageant. It was such a great trip. We are grateful that we were able to go.

Brigham's newest accomplishment

We know that for all of you this isn't as exciting as it is for us but we are glad that you humor us. Brigham is now rather stable as he sits up on his own. He used to only stay up for a second or two but now it is much longer.

Becky and Jacob's Visit

Becky and Jacob came to visit us last week. It was so much fun to have them come and spend the week with us. Brigham sure loves his aunt Becky and uncle Jacob. Brigham loved to go to sleep with Becky holding him. It was so great for Brigham to have car buddies. It sure made it nice for me to have Becky and Jacob keeping him happy as we went places. Both Becky and Jacob were such big helps while they were here. We sure are grateful for both of you and are glad that you came to visit.

Bonding

Brigham sure loved Jacob. Brigham spent a lot of time playing with Jacob. Becky was changing Brigham's diaper when Jacob started to talk to Brigham. Brigham looked up at Jacob and reached for his hand. They spent the time of the diaper change holding hands and talking to each other.
