Here is an updated picture of my beautiful wife. We are glad we are finally getting there. As we were sitting in church today we realized this was very likely our last Sunday at church without a little baby. With conference next week Brigham will have to be late for us not to have him by the next time we go to our ward. How wierd is that, to think that from now on we'll have someone else to take care of and to worry about! No more passing the baby on to the parents when he or she gets fussy. We'll be the parents! What's up with that.
In all seriousness, we are very exicted to have Brigham come and we can't wait for the wonderful experiences that we'll have together.

Travel System

Brigham got his new ride this week. We went over to Target and bought his new stroller and car seat. I'm sure we'll get a picutre of the stroller on here soon.

Step by Step Instructions

Liz wanted me to show everyone how to do the cupcakes. It doesn't work unless you make the sounds.

A family in our ward had their girl's first birthday part last week and asked Liz if she would make cupcakes for the event. The flower petals are small marshmallows cut in half and then frosting for the stem. They turned out very well especially for not knowing what we were doing when we started.

BYU v. TCU basketball

Last night was the TCU v. BYU basketball game. It was the last regular season game so Liz and I went. As soon as we sat down we looked over a few sections and there were all the missionaries. I don't know how they got permission to go but they must have had a good month or something but there was about a hundred or so missionaries at the game all sitting in the same section. They were sitting behind the band and at one point the band turned around and played right at them. I'm not sure what that was all about but they did.

The game was a lot of fun. BYU won by more than ten after giving up a ten point half time lead. There were almost as many BYU fans as TCU fans. The cheers that would happen after a team scored were almost the same for both sides. It was good to see the Y well represented here in Texas.

TCU vs. UTAH

We forgot that we had these pictures. Liz and I went to the TCU v. Utah football game this last fall. When we took the pictures we didn't have the memory card in so the pictures were saved to the camera and we just found them yesterday. It was hard for me to get real into the game because I wanted both teams to lose but since that couldn't happen I was glad to see Utah come out on top. I'm glad to know that if we are here next year we'll get to see a couple of my brother's because BYU plays here and that will give them a great excuse to come down, apparently we aren't good enough...lol. We had a fun time at the game and it was great to see some football.

Snow in Texas!!!

This was the biggest snow storm that we have received since we have been here. Notice how you can still see the grass through the snow. It is kind of funny because with this snow storm schools were closed, people got off of work early, and the Relief Society activity that was suppossed to happen that night was canceled. Just a little different than Utah.

This is one of the quilts that mom helped us with.

Mom's Visit

Mom came down to visit us for a few days. It was really fun to have her come. She came on Monday and left on Friday. We were able to get a lot of things done before Brigham is born. She cleaned carpets, made food, ironed clothes, helped finish up some quilts for Brigham, and many more things. It was so much fun to have her here. Thanks for coming!
